Im spinning the bfg dr's in third 20psi 93octane

I spin my 225 BFGs in 3rd as well, but never wheel hop. Nitto still = junk. They are decent at best for a daily driven DR car but thats as far as I would go with puttin them on a car. The 225 BFG is a hookin Mofo for the street though, its not really gonna get much better for our cars unless you run a slick or some crazy wrinkle wall DR, in which case most the time the rotating diameter is huge and focks the gearing all up.

i dont drive my car that much, well it is down right now but even when we put it together this or next week im just going to drive on 24.5 inch slicks,we have a strip that everyone cruises and drive those out to the "street" races. i wasnt paying attention to that post about the mounts, the silicone filled ones i have are shitty i think, the car wheel hops very very bad. now everyone who is saying they are spinning are all of you running lsd's?

I have a stock DSM tranny, no lsd or welded diff. All new mounts except for the timing belt side. I filled both the front and rear with a JBweld similiar to window weld. I dont floor the car till the top of second or in third, never floored it in first, and no signs of wheel hop yet.

Na I'm not running any type of LSD, but some people run them and say that it really doesn't cure any wheel spinning issues. I know underdog ran a quaife at one point and took it back out.

With Either my welded Diff, or my current insert, I can leave 2 black stripes at will to 100mph. It looks like they were painted on the ground.

If having legal plates is the only criteria I will agree w/ you. I know everybody has a different definition of what is a "street car" and what is not.
JP's car=Gutted, caged, roll bar, fuel cell, 4 pins holding the trunk on,no bumpers, etc.. Have you seen his car?
Boostfreak himself calls my 11 second Dodge Omni a "race car" when comparing it to my Colt. My "race car" Omni has 4 seats surrounded by ALL of the factory interior, four working doors and a hatch, a radio, power steering............

The only reason it has no back seat is b/c of the cage.

The only reason it has a cell is to make room for my exhaust, and eventual AWD.

My car did not have power steering stock.

My car is probably heavier than it was stock.

Your Omni is a full Sec+ slower, and 15mph behind me. It is by no means "A" race car, I said it was YOUR race car. Would calling it your toy make more sense to you?
