After a HUGE ordeal, I finally took the Nascolt to the track.

I just put 225/50/15 drag radials on, and hooked up a wideband. It was runnin' 10.6 Air/Fuel. I didn't have time to tune, so it's totally untuned.

2.3L, home ported head, small FMIC, 14B@10psi, stock wornout suspension, here's my best:

60ft 2.1118
330ft 5.8532
1/8 ET 8.9079
1/8 MPH 80.95
1/4 ET 13.7981
1/4 MPH 99.74

I was honestly hoping for a 13.60 but would have been happy with anything in the 13's. Overall, I'm just glad I got some decent baseline passes in. The the tuning begin.

As the DSM guys say, 'leaner is meaner'. :D Make sure you knock sensor is working properly, though, and keep an eye on knock and EGT.

I thought that leaner is meaner was for Chevy's????? I tune lean. I just didn't have a chance to tune. Long Story. After I tune, things should be quite a bit better.

How lean you DSM guys go? I've heard 11.5:1 is about the target for turbo cars. Do I go 12:1 ????

Trust me, I'll experiment. It's not that I don't trust or believe anyone, but it seems that I don't follow the crowd, so to speak.

I ran 12.2:1 but you can risk a little more at altitude. Also depends on what fuel you plan on running.
