Me and my bro took his car to the track on July 10th. We were siked about it. Until we started running the car. We ran consistant 15.2. I am still angry about the way the car handle. The car should of ran faster.
Here is whats in the car.
AGP 50 trim turbo kit
3" from down pipe back
4g63 block
Extreme turbo intercooler with type S BOV
Slicks
Slipping stock clutch
450 stock injectors
and stock fuel pump
The car is not tuned and the engine light is always on.
We tried launching at different RPM and no affects on the time.

The kicker was the last run of time trial, my intercooler piping blows off at the beganing of the run. So could barely get the car up to 2500rpm or it was going to stall. The dam track official flags me over at the end of the track and tell me to next time drive faster. I was pissed because this guy has no ideal what was going on. I think the next time if this happen I am just going to turn the key off and have them push me off the track just to be an ass. Well we let the car cool off so we could put the piping back and my bro finds out the O2 sensor fell out. We needed to drive the car home so we put everthing back in and just hand tight the O2 sensor in. I am still wondering to this day if the O2 sensor has been uplug all that time.
I am still pissed. I guess the next step is to replace the plugs, upgrade the fuel system, and buy a better clutch.

I will even be more dissappointed if my talon run a 15.2.

The fact that you are running a 50 trim on stock fuel injectors and stock fuel pump could probably signify the reason your car is slow. O2 sensor falling out, can't be good either. How much boost were you running just out of curiousity? I suggest not driving the car until you have an upgraded fuel pump and injectors to 660s or about there and datalog and tune the car.

I tried but Dom was a bad teacher on the Fast and the Furious. I could not catch his shifting technique. So I tried learning from Intial D.

The car was running at 14 PSI with no boost creep. I known we should of not driven the car until it was tuned and fuel upgraded. But you know it was like getting your drivers license for the first time again and I just wanted to kill some fanboys. Well I guess my bro better get on the que and upgrade his stuff. My car is coming back together nicely and I can't wait to hit the tracks once the engine is broken in. I am tempted to pick up a colt and throw all my stuff in it but AWD is easier to launch.
