haahahahah.

just one 16g. i had an FP fully built 18g on there, but i just downgraded before the dyno.

so two 16g's would be like a 32g, huh?

are the numbers that unbelievable?? i thought they were low.

i could got well past 300 with better tuning.

crackerman's lil bro got over 300 w/ a 16g.

also, any nonbelievers: crackerman was there while my car was being dynoed. address any nay-saying to the man, the crackerman.

those are good #'s get some more tuning done and turn the boost up to 24psi you could see mid three hundred. I would'nt go past 24 because it's out of the eficancy range then. Is that your complete set up? I 'm hoping for mid three's on my 1.6 but i have more supporting mods. I go to are local dyno alot and there is alot of 2.0 with evo 3 puting 360 to 380 down.

ya. i could tune for higher boost if i still had my FP 18g. but i really needed money and it wasn't that big of a step down to a big 16g.

i am pretty good on the "supporting mods". im waiting for more $$$ so i can throw a ridiculous hybrid turbo on.

supporting mods:
tt supra pump
aeromotive afpr w/ gauge
hardpipes
i/c
vented 1g uncrushed (my crushed one compressor surged very loud)
egt, oil pressure, water temp, boost up to 35 psi

water injection coming soon
2600 waiting for install

I NEED A BETTER TRANNY AND CENTER DIFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

where do you get boost gauges that go up to 45psi???

industrial application is what i was thinking, but i dont want the notches so close together i can't tell if im doing 38 or 43.

it will probably take some searching to find the perfect high-boost gauge.

i will have to ask around to some of the "big-dog" dsm'ers who run 40+ consistantly.

actually, use a 60 psi oil pressure gauge. you won't have any vacuum, but you will have pressure readings.

and miragetec (if i remember correctly) was making somewhere near 350 whp with a b16g front mount 3" exh and tuned well, before the awd swap.

jared's colt (my brother , a.k.a. gonzo) make 316 hp ad 335 tq 3 months ago, with 550's and evo 16g.

Is anybody besides me confused with this statement? Can someone explain what BOV compressor surge is?

its when you let off the gas after being in boost, and it down't want to blow off. it goes PSSSHT! PSSsshht! psht out of the turbo, or a very small vent throught bov , and the rest through the turbo, its not good. as the bov is not venting properly.

thanks cracker! i was gonna use a 30-0-30 for vacuum and them something a little more for boost, like the oil pressure gauge you mentioned.
