NO, I'd love to but its so far from washington state to come out to the shootout, I heard you wrecked the car, that sucks, that thing was wicked.


at least you were ok.... cars can be replaced!

But you know what the gt42 feels like with the boost up, its a way different animal at 40+ boost, the 9.4 felt like it didnt pull good on the top end at 30psi.

Back to the grindstone for me....

Clutch was slipping extremely bad at the top of third and all through fourth...I just kept my foot into it after shifting into 4th and it basically bounced off the rev limiter the whole time.

Last nite I found out more power doesn't always equal better times.I found the missing hp by realizing the electronic boost quage was off by 6psi. Installed a mechanical autometer and shazam!, proper vacuum and a full 20 psi.

my best last night in phoenix was 13.1 @ 104..1.8 60'( previous best was 13.1 @ 109 in tuscon)..... its a 90 talon tsi w/ evo 3 turbo 3" turbo back 550 injectors..fmic....bj replica intake manny... 6 month old plugs... running 91 pump gas @ 19 psi.(daily driven this way).. soon to be for sale if anyone is interested... also gonna rebuild the head and put new t-belt and arp studs and shoot for mid 12s before the sale.

I love the 1.6 on my old set-up (evo3) the colt went 13.4 at 110 at denver elavation and on street tires... No 2.oL for me not yet at least got one i'm building for the fp and the other 6bolt will be for a back up... Going to the track to get me some 12's got the traps still trying to find the right tire psi my 60' needs to go down.....
