Went to an import event here in Denver yesterday. Ran 14.0 all day, with one 14.1. The weather was crappy and we had 35-45 mph winds all day...would have been nice if they were tail winds.

My best was the first run doing a 14.002 @ 101.43 mph and a 2.22 60'.
I now have a total of eight 14.0xx passes in the last 13 times down the 1/4 mile and I seem to have hit a wall. I might try making a drive down to another track at a lower elevation (Pueblo 4,600 ft compaired to Bandimere's 5,800 ft). Most people run an average of .2-.4 seconds faster.

I'm determined to run at least one 13's pass on the 11B...then its on to a bigger turbo.

But Bobby, isn't that cheating? You know Davis will never let you get away with that.

if you run the altitude compensation, you are looking at 13.7's or faster at sea level.

A 13's pass is a 13's pass, no matter which track I go to. Like Crackerman said, I would be good for at least a 13.9-13.7's down at Pueblo. But I will run a 13.

Screw that. Do it at Bandi. Wait until it's a cool night at test n tune and run 104 octane.

I made a bone head mistake too, I had turned down the boost for driving on the streets and to conserve my 11B...forgot to turn it back up and since I did some more mods it still felt fast. Hate when I do that. I was only running 13 psi and she now screams at 17 psi...back to Bandimere.

Take a giant dump before you race to shave off some more weight to get into the 13's. Jusk kidding cant wait to see you make a 13 sec run.

There are only two more test n tunes. Hopefully I get it in the next one so I can run care-free at the last tnt.

Heh, just did the hp calculator for my mph and its 180.1 whp...not bad for an 11B.

crazy fast; good job.
thinking....
if you aren't already, perhaps consider running some of those ghetto devices to limit suspension travel in the rear springs to stop weight transfer...
don't know what kind of tires you're on, but i looked up those falkens eric uses and they are supposed to be great (and cheap). guess you're already on slicks, huh...
water/alc. injection...
i'm sure i'm not going to think of anything that you haven't...just throwing this stuff out there.

while we're all here.....
any of the denver crew datalogging?
which palm models?

I've got a cheap palm, but I haven't made a cable yet. We'll see if it works after that. Its not on the "it works" list, but its also not on the incompatible list.

bobby is running falkens on his current setup. hes also running a mix of DSM suspension parts. It lowered his car and gives him a killer launch compared to my worn stock supsension. We've probably raced a good 20 times (to say the least) since he changed his suspension. And I think i've beat him off the line twice. once was cause he missed 2nd.

I just picked one up as well, I want to start logging.

I gave up on the 13's...a 14.002 is the best I will be able to claim on an 11B at 5,800 ft elevation. I was gonna do the w/a injection but just decided that its time to upgrade. I ran a 14.002 @ 101.43 on a completely stock motor and a ported 11B...can't really complain for how few of upgrades the car has and only 14 psi. I tried the faulkin's but they netted me more consistent 60' consistently 2.2's but I couldn't get any better at a higher boost levels.

The turbo now resides on Davis's car and is doing rather well from what I hear, my car is torn down for a much needed tranny refresh and a...different set up. Ian....your gonna need those 550 and some tuning

crying shame. i'd say you were way too close to give up, but will be happy to see where you go from here.
when my pos runs again i'll come down and meet up with you guys at mac again. its been about 2.5 months..and i haven't even spent much time messing with it. well, my legs are getting buff from skateboarding everywhere...
i think when she's running again it'll be time for some serious work.
