Went to track today, went 12.2@119.8mph. I was bouncing off the rev limiter in 1st and spinning second with the baby slicks, so thier is room for improvment. As my big turbo issues continue, I will be small turbo power'd. Seeing these good trap speeds is very encouraging though :)

Awesome time, especially the trap speed. Whats your setup? How many psi? How much do the car weigh?

Im running slicks, but not really because they dont work well with my settup anymore. They were good when I was making no power, but I am now so its no good.

I could do no better than a 2.0 60ft, and that is bouncing off the rev limiter in 1st from spinning the slicks and spinning them 1/2 way through 2nd. They are only 6 inches wide, 20 tall.

Another setback is I was hitting the traps at 6700rpm according to my logger in 5th! Thats freaking junk, but correctable. It is because of my 20 inch tall baby slicks. Bigger slicks and I sould do 11's at over 120 with the lil 16g.

FMIC, stock motor/head, 3 inch ex., 660, AFC, 22psi

Keep in mind that a high trapspeed with a lot of launch spin/bad 60' usually means you'll run a better ET with a lower trapspeed and more traction...

Having said that, anything over 110mph should net you a 11 second pass with a decent 60'.

Man thats great from a small 16g. I have this turbo too but haven't done any mods yet. I'd love to know a bit more about your setup as I want that sort of time with my borg one day, but I understand if you don't want to share your mods.

You said you had FMIC, stock motor/head, 3 inch ex., 660, AFC, 22psi.

What sort or AFC and boost controller do you run. Surely you have more mods to share.

Any info would be great.

Thanks all. I would like to get up videos, but the only ones floating around are of me raping people on the highway. They say they will post them on their respective boards, but they never show up.

I am kind on computer retarted, so I will have to enlist the help of friends to get the slip up.

Their is really nothing more to my settup. I must say, more than anything the FMIC has pruven to be huge, because it keeps the knock down, even on warm days with the boost up and opens my tuning window huge. No tricks here. I have an intercooler from PressureTreatedTechnologies. They have a web site but it is under construction. It is basically the same as Buschur's kit, but for much less money, and the quality is amazing!

Unfortunatly only 20psi, my wastegate was blowing open, I believe due to my rediculous amount of porting. A little to much of a god thing. Next track day, I want to see 25-26psi.

At 25psi don't you think you will be out of the max compressor efficiency of the small 16g?

It's not too far out of the peak curve, so a small amount of temp increase over what would be the norm.
