Due to lack of interest and lack of time on my part, there will be no Ride of the Month for September. Better luck next month.

If you need someone else to try and put together the ROTM I can do it. I'm on here at least twice a day and could easily put the ride of the month together if need be, let me know.

Sorry to hear that akdriverjd, but if by some miracle everything is done on my car enough to roll it out into the driveway this weekend, I will have to submit my portfolio.

I appreciate it SpinMasta11, but I recieve almost zero email or PM's every month regarding it. Usually, I hunt people down with catchy cars or cars that are in the "news" if you will, and ask them permission to do a writeup on it, ie boostfreak and PMA1123. I'm on here at least 3-4 times a day, sometimes more depending how busy it is at work. If you'd like to stretch those writers legs, let me know! It'd be awesome if you wrote up one or two to help. The more the merrier.

I'd definitely be willing to help out any way possible. Actually, I'll be submitting my car here shortly for a ROTM. I just want to see more pics and information on what cars we have from this forum. I know they are plenty others who have cars that are worthy for the ROTM but it just seems that there is lack of enthusiasm, which seems kinda strange to me cause I enjoy expressing my car and I would think others from this forum feel the same about their cars. So maybe we can figure out a way to pump this up a little bit. But I'd be willing to write a few if you want me to, but I want some serious volunteers here so I can get in touch with the candidates.

I can give you everything you need to know about my car, including the best way to pick up a car that is over 4 hours away! New pics can be posted this weekend and I will get everything bolted back together enough to photo shoot, it may not be running depending upon the head gasket showing up - but it could have everything in place if you know what I mean. Let me know by email or pm and I'll provide what ever you feel is pertinent including the upgrade list.

Tim

I dont get why people dont submit their cars for this!!!
I think its great that we get a nice variety of submissions, 1.5L, 3G, 4G, 2.0L, 1.6L, beater, showcar, something inbetween...you get the idea.
The fact is that these cars are 15 years old, and nobodys car is perfect. If you turn your own wrenches, have a little bit of pride and show it off.
I dont care if you don't have your engine swap done, or theres rust on the fenders, painted interior trim, american racing wheels...I enjoy watching everyones project grow.

I would like to see scottspecv's car, since he has turned it around nicely from the original FS post, and it is a dirty little biyatch with that primer. A couple other candidates woud be spinmasta, and an updated photoshoot on Underdogs mirage.

If we can't find any candidates for November then I'll submit my car.

there's so few submissions that if you submit something, you're pretty much guaranteed to be rotm either that month or within 2-3 months...

Oh, and lately it's become sort of a collective type of thing.

So some decent candidates for next month = me, Underdog, scottspecv, and anyone else? Throw some names up and we'll have a poll for who should be ROTM for Nov.

I agree, it also gives me ideas for my car. And speaking of beaters...

I dont have a digital camera, so i cant really do anything about it. I'm trying to do something about it though. I plan on making ROTM.
