This month the featured ride belongs to Chet. It is a 89 Colt GT with all
the power options. Chet has performed a 4g63t transplant mated to the
original KM210 transmission.
Hisfeatured car epitomises the term "sleeper".To the uninitiated, the not so obvious modifications play right into the sleeper effect. They may easily overlook the front mount intercooler lurking behind the front bumper, the only visual clue that this isnt an ordinary little four-banger! even the wheel and tire choice give a performance edge with minimalist visuals.

In a post made by Chet he talks a little about the performance
characteristics of his Colt:
"My car went 14.6@96 w/ a sidemount, stock 1.6 fuel pump, running 15psi on a hot florida afternoon with a 2.2 60ft...also went 14.8@98 with a 2.3 60ft...driving it like a grandmother because the 1.6 fuel pumps barely get enough fuel to anything making over 200whp. i dynoed the car afterward with a walbro 255 and made 215, 245 running extremely rich with stock smic at 19psi... the car as it sits is around 250-260whp"...
