Engine bay cleaned up. Next are the motors. Then piece together what I want for the hatch.
It's been 7 yrs or so. Here I go again, but 4g63t this time.

Had a gas leak. fixed it temporarily. It will get a new gas tank for when its ready for the road.
It cranked and started!! Now it needs to be refined. It has an oil leak at the turbo oil feed banjo bolt.
But its getting there.

It drove itself out today!

Temporarily put the hood on. Back to stock headlights for now. Still needs lots of work though. At least it runs! I am glad the wiring is okay.
Now that I can drive it in and out of the garage I can start on my 88 sedan swap.

Many more pics here.

Don't kid yourself Tim. It still needs lots if hours .
I've been lucky to have been working nights. So during the day the kids are at school and wife at work, that leaves me about six hours a day to tinker.
I can only cut the grass so many times. Luckily I have the Colts to keep me busy.
I just want this white hatch running so now I can concentrate on the my sedan engine swap.
This winter is going to be body work season.
Thanks for the motivational words guys.

Fixed the mirrors. Not color coded but that can be fixed when it goes in for paint. No more cracked mirror housing.
