Some of you may have heard me talking about the 94 Mighty Max that I recently picked up so I figured I'd toss up a pic. I found it on CL for $1450 and talked the guy down to $1350, still a little more than I wated to pay but I know trucks aren't cheap. Also as we all know, any older $1350 dollar Mitsubishi is going to require some maintenance to be reliable. So far I have replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coolant temp sensor, t-stat, hoses, used maf, replaced the caps in the ecu, oil change with a can of engine restore. I just ordered a new aluminum radiator from ebay since the stock one is slightly leaking. I also ordered seals, VC gasket, t-belt and balance shaft belt, tensioners, water pump and an O2 sensor from Rockauto. The truck is an automatic with 194K on it and believe it or not it runs really well. The CEL is on for the egr valve and the O2 but I'll be addressing those this weekend. The old man tool box will be coming off too Also please forgive the neighbors yard, they disappeared like 2 years ago and abandoned the place

Very nice! $1,350 isn't bad if the underside is in good condition. |

Underside it mint, no rust whatsoever. After owning a white GVR4 from Ohio a few years back that's the first thing I check on cars now before I even think about buying them. Tony, it does have the fuel injected 4G64 in it, 8v I believe but I'm not sure. Been thinking about tossing on a 16v sohc head from a galant and maybe a turbo exhaust mani/14b |

I'd drive it. Post it here FS when you decide to get rid of it. |

awesome purchase, congrats O: Quote: 16v sohc head from a galant and maybe a turbo exhaust mani/14b
you'd run into the same problem with that that you would putting a DOHC head on it, bumps compression way up. like near 13:1 way up. so you wouldn't need a turbo if you did that, though you might want water/alc injection :p

Tub it, and run a compound turbo setup on a 4G63 with a TH350. You could still make parts runs in it and probably increase the value of the vehicle in case you ever decide to sell it. |
