I went out to our local 1/8th-mile pile of shit racetrack the other night to watch my boy Dave run his Colt. His best pass was a 7.9 @ 97mph with a 1.9 60'. This track is set up in the parking lot of our local football stadium, so traction is a joke, even with AWD you're looking at plenty of wheelspin on street tires.

For those who are curious, he's running a built 2.0. Wiseco 8.5:1 pistons, Eagle Rods, MLS head gasket, HKS 272's, BC springs/retainers, JMFab "street" plenum intake manifold, homemade tubular exhaust manifold, Garrett GT35R S-cover not port-shrouded comp. housing and .63 a/r turbine housing. 1,000cc injectors, S'AFC, MAF-T, small eBay FMIC. He was only running 26psi because he's still on a single Walbro 255 pump and was running out of fuel very badly. This thing will be a BEAST when he gets a real fuel system and starts running big-boy boost out of that turbo. Should go 10's in the 1/4 no problem.

Anyway, here are pics:

Another local guy's DSM. Pretty nice paint job.

That's all I got.

Not keydriver. One of our friends down here does custom ECU EPROM burning for us. So yeah, it's got 1,000cc injector compensation among other things.

That jmf looks like it would be a very tight fit going into the t-body, more pis of the engine bay in running condition :)

Next time I see him I'll snap some pics for you guys. His piping pretty much runs right alongside the brake master/booster. It's VERY close, but it fits. He runs a stock throttle body.
