spun all four out of the hole tonight. cant wait for the track.
???...did you up the stall or add some happy gas? When u going to the track, they cancelled the Nopi event. :loser: :axe: :club: I am pretty pissed off about that. I may be going up to T-n-t weds to try out my low boost, full interior, daily driver set up.
I did a part throttle stall and it seemed to stall up well and let off. WTF is with the nopi thing. I needed some seat time with the car before pinks.

Hey Paul, you going to TnT tomorrow? I plan on making a few passes with the new interior. I'm oddly excited.

There is a race car test night tonight at bandimere. Slicks only or 11.99 or faster on street tires. We are going up there.

I can't make the even tonight...and I don't wat to run slicks and getted kicked out just yet. I'm gonna try to run consistent low 12's on the new set up with a full tank of gas on the Nitto's.

Well a little bs went down, but we are set to take the land speed car tomorrow now. I have to say it is insane how much of a difference the big hoosiers make. You guys will just have to see it to believe it. The car has some serious potential to make some noise.

Typical and untypical dsm stuff pushed us too late to go to the test night tonight. We were wanting to test the new hoosiers for te Texas Mile in october. We finally got everything finished and did some testing on brighton blvd. The car is sick. If anyone can make it tomorrow it should be a blast. We wanted a lot of runs tonight, but will have to settle for the crap with test and tune instead.

I know this is off topic, but someone above asked about the red one at the shootout last year. Just saw that it is now black and ran 157mph this past week. Through the auto.

i think this is the one your talking about rite?

This car is owned by Scott Priebe at AMS. I don't know if he is running a 2.0, 2.1, 2.3, or 2.4 now, but here's a link of his 2g Talon with a 42R and an auto trans:

In car video near the end of the vid.

I've been very impressed with autos. A very good friend of mine had under $4500 in his '91 GSX, including the cost of the car, and was in the 11's. Not bad, considering a 180,000+ mile engine and a BEAT stock transmission with a stall converter and a shift kit.
