Now if someone could find a clean one and swap a RWD 4G63 into it. There's a couple turds on Project Zero G, but nothing this clean.
That's why I'm not swapping this one... It's too clean. I've gotten to a point in life that not everything has to be a "race car". I've actually started appreciating things for what they are not! Scary huh?

I just like to do the odd path, 90% of the people I meet want to see it swapped, 4g, Hemi, SBC... The other is a mixture of keep it original (which actually it doesn't have the stock engine), and some like the idea of doing a "period correct" build. Just the path least chosen is where I tend to go :)

I completely understand where you are coming from. Once you have a race car or two you like the slow old clunkiness of a classic car. One day ill own one like this. I loved my '76 but really wanted this body style and mine was too much of a handful at the time.

I'd rock the shit out of this thing man. I'd have to throw some wire wheels on it with some white walls but other than that and an exhaust she'd stay just the way she is.

It parks within 30 feet of 3 4g63s, that's close as it needs one.

Its sooooo clean. Personally, I wouldnt swap it either but do a build similar to this. I love it when people lower these.

My friend finished the custom air filter housing a couple weeks back. I've just been cruising it to car shows. I will get some pics soon!

I've got a cam/springs for it. Decided to freshen up the head while at it. Taking care of those 40 year old oil leaks too. It compression tested 140-144 across the board, however 90% of the cooling passages to the head were stopped up with rust. The cooling system on this thing is nasty, so I'm cleaning it all out and up. I'll have some more pictures as I progress. I'm wanting to do the hot rod power tour in it! :)
