This thread has definitely drifted off a bit, I guess thats what I get for bringing out the teddy bear rims... I'll probably spray the spokes black for now and go from there...

Might look hot is if you paint those rims you have there now, paint them a gloss black and paint the lip red. Cheap and would look pretty decent i think. Rattle can should do the trick... just a thought.

I agree, I think im going to paint the spokes black and try to polish the lip as best as possible... Ill post some pics this weekend...

Your car looks fantastic man great job.. Nice to see someone still cares about the exterior on these cares rather than just rattle canning them flat black... and hacking them all to bits just for the sake of speed. Go fast with class IMO..

I just realized, are you the guy who owns that challenger that is at shootout every year? The colt looks super clean man, good job on the resto. I remember talking to you at the shootout a few years back when i had my white one and you said you used to own one if these cars and wished you never sold it. I went down the same road ans have another one again too.

Yup, thats me. I wished I never sold my white 89 Mirage, I'm gald I got a second chance with this one. I will be driving the Colt to the shootout this year, and trailering the Challenger. See ya there...

I just noticed you're from Grand Rapids, I was there last month.... I have family in Freeport, MI. As usual we will be at the Econolodge, hopefully no Jet Skis in the pool this year...
