I'm looking to buy a turbo C/S/M hatch,either original 4G61 or 4G63-swapped. Something I can turn the key and drive home,no projects. Prefer auto but that probably won't happen unless I do the swap myself,which due to space and time will be my last resort if I'm unable to find one. Hope to find one within a state of my location,Canton,Ohio. I've listed this ad as 'feeler' because part of me wants to spend my money on my GSX and finally get a d/d. I've been hammering Craigslist and other sites for any leads,none so far. Let me know what you have!

Not unless you plan to import one from NZ. Thats the only place that I've seen a turbo cyborg aka mirage hatch with an automatic in it

Ha don't plan on importing,def out of my price range! And I should have specified a 4G63-swapped car w/auto, I know that the CSM's did not come stock with a turbo automatic. Odds are that I won't come across one for sale anyway

Yeah, I've never seen anyone do an auto swap and keep it FWD. In fact, the only auto swap I've seen was on a CSM with an AWD conversion.

I read somewhere(this site,I think) that F4A22 DSM n/t tranny with a mount from a 92-95 auto Elantra would work. I thought I had it bookmarked but I can't seem to find it...looks like I'm sol for the auto,but I still want one

There was that blue sedan that was running a built FWD auto. He had it up for sale awhile ago.

what are you looking to spend? like say for one in fair condition? or one that need some body work? or a clean one with no rust?

I got a very clean one for being a NY car. I was the second owner of this car. The tittle I had was an original copy and it listed 61k miles once I got the new tittle in my name it said exempt of course since the cars over 10 years old. But other then that the car runs great. I replaced the gas tank fuel pump. timing belt water pump 160 thermostat evo 8 fmic 1g bov 2g tb elbow replaced the starter. Clutch slave cylinder timing belt auto tensioner timing belt idler. replaced the front brakes. The car's good to go just could use some tires the ones on there are kinda dry rotted but they have been holding air.

The 1/4s are mint no rust there no rust on the rockers very little rust bubbles on the roof the paints faded on the roof and hood seem's common. The car's black original turbo car doesn't smoke or anything doesnt burn oil. the stock 11b is on the car now no shaft play it's honestly a really good car. I had the valve cover off and it's really really clean in there.

let me know what you are looking to spend and maybe we can work out a deal. I need the money to get my subaru up and going again. I can get you pictures if you'd like.
