I tested this ECU in a 90 DSM, and it seemed to run ok. BUT, I just opened it up and there is a little burn mark next to one of the caps. I just want you to see it before I send it.   If you dont like that, let me know. |

Well the Payment has been sent already and i only bought it to fix my Problem So send it. you said it had good caps,Lets see what happends.Hopefully this one can last meanwhile i get my stock one fixed. |

Your stock one is probably fried beyond repair, it's a paperweight now. This one will work fine, but I would recommend having the caps replaced so that you don't have to worry about it ever again.

i just ordered a set of caps for my stock ecu. So basically instead of getting those brand new caps and putting them on my old ecu i should install them on This new ecu im getting? |

If you dont have any soldering experience, or havent replaced capacitors before, I wouldnt recommend you trying this on your own, when the caps start leaking, the pads can get tore up pretty easily taking the old caps out, unless you know what your doing. Like tonus said, your gonna want to replace those caps in that new ecu your getting, the capacitors they put in these ecus should all be changed over. If you cant find anyone local to replace those caps for you, I will do it dirt cheap. Also your ecu thats failing is probably still salvagable, I havent worked on one yet that wasnt salvagable, so dont toss it just yet, I would like to take a look at it for you and try to fix it, if you dont mind paying just shipping, its kinda a hobby of mine. |

SpinMasta - i'll be for surely talking to you bro. TrevTec - Im just curious When the arrival Date the postal service told you it'll be at my place(Its because im leaving in 5 days from now)Wouldnt mind slappin it on just to Drive around the block with No issues.
