Thats a rare 1.6 4G61 car too as it has the turbo wheels and interior. It needs more than a timing belt though, pretty sure it has some bent valves. Still looks like a nice car if someone can snatch it up cheap.

You would have to install a whole new turbo wiring harness if this thing if you wanted to install the turbo motor right?

Nope, just add a handful of wires to the existing harness. One for the maf, knock sensor and injector resistor pack. All mounts are there too.

You could probably run the F5M22 tranny that comes with it too if you took it easy on it.

I've found 3 of these are the yards and none of them had equal length axles. Maybe someone had replaced them?

You found 3 different 4g61 Summits in the junkyard? Only the 4g61 cars had the turbo axles.

Actually the NA 4G61 cars didn't have the turbo axles, well the one on the drivers side isn't anyway. Its a long axle like the 4G15 cars but the part that snaps in the diff is different. I'm guessing the passenger side axle is the same on all 4G61 cars, turbo or not.

According to my catalogs, the part #'s are the same between the '89 Turbo CSM's and the 4G61 Summits--as long as they're both manual transmission cars.

Yup, 3 different 4g61 Summits, all with one long axle and one short....

Is anyone on the forum bidding on this? I don't want to get into a bidding war with someone on the forum and have one of us get screwed out of a nice car.

I just tore the turbo seats out of a summit just like this. And I'm sick....realized it had turbo wheels, and I was about to buy them until I discovered there were only three turbo wheels on the car!!
