An add for my car can be seen on:

http://perth.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-for- ... dZ70501098

Many new bits but the cam timing has slipped and now has a noise of the valves.

Would be perfect for a transplant with 4G63T

Licenced and running.

Can contact me:

Yeah i feel bad getting rid of it but theres not alot of interest here in Perth so the price is pretty cheap. Its a bit too costly for me to get a rebuild or transplant done and im not able to do stuff myself.

I think one of your members who is here in perth is going to come and see it and take the whole car to put a new engine in it. Ill be happy with that if i get a drive now and then. Will be good to see it still on the road.

Commonwhores (Commodores) and Coons (Falcons) are the pride of Australia. They're built there, and every family owns one of the two (slight exaggeration, but you get my point), they're common as mud and therefore are affordable. Here in NZ you can pick up a late model ('04-'05) Falcon XR6 turbo, 4.0L straight 6 with a huge factory Garrett for a shade under $20 grand... wouldn't mind owning one myself in a few years 8)

try to email this guy and i'm pretty sure he can get any Genuine JDM part for you....

rc_balatbat_17@yahoo.com

ask for a Lancer GTI front bumper

I'm pretty sure he can find you that type of bumper for less than $100 also get excellent looking dash for less than $100..

international air shipping would be about $200-$400

I'm guessing a group buy of needed JDM parts would be more feasible especially if you use sea shipping....

you can also use this $1000 to get a round trip airfare ticket to Aus , Japan, etc. to get the part that you wanted then just bring it with you...

I know during the off season plane tickets cost like $600 to $800 round trip (september to november) (january to feb)

You do realize that airlines charge you money to put stuff on the plane. They're even charging people who want to check a bag these days. I heard a story about some guy that had a bunch of surfboards, they charged him $600 to check them, which was more expensive than his ticket in the first place. Plus, it's not like these cars grow on trees in Aus, Japan, or anywhere else for that matter.
