When I built my first circle track car I was very 'budget concious' (poor) at the time and decided to build a $50 Hyundai Pony.It was Hyundai's first car in North America, and was a biodegradeable POS, but ran forever. One day at a swap meet I saw a V8 powered Plymouth Arrow GT for sale along with all the leftovers from the conversion. Alot of the parts looked strangely familiar. One conversation led to another and I discovered that the Pony was virtually identical to the Arrow, right down to the Mitsu name on many of the parts. It wasn't long before I tracked down lots of cheap leftover race parts from the old mini mod series that they dominated in the 70's.
I believe the Plymouth Arrow is some sort of Lancer model... Right?
