Post subject:  found a talon today
so evo and I went to pickup some tires for my bro's 93 elantra, and we spot this nice white 91 talon, we were like, ok cool, then I looked at the back and I actually shat myself. I spied the three letters that everyone would love to see. "TSI" so we got talking to the guy there about the car and dave (evotistical) said, "Who much for that talon" the guy said that he would have to call his boss and ask. Come to find out it had a blown engine. No biggie. dave works @ awep ;-) so he asked his boss and his boss said $500 for the WHOLE FCUKING CAR!!!!!!!!! I once again shat myself! we talked him down to $400, so hopefully the car will be there friday when dave and I go to pick it up. so this will complete dave's swap and get his lancer up and running but it gives me the chance to get a good base for my swap, and then the AWD conversion :-) so did I score or what?????

yes, congrats steve. you scored. what about that 4g61 somethingorother that you bought? where are all of these parts gonna go? I think you should donate them to a random board member that lives in oregon and can possibly find storage for them in AZ...then I'd have to go down there ( snowbird style ) and haul them up....

well, thats ONE idea.... :lol:

Forget school, put your life on hold, or rather install a H S B on the dash and get those mods going. You're young and have time to blow all your credit early, credit counselling is all over American television (j/k).

If said board member in oregon came down and grabbed the 4g61 I'm sure that I would let said board member have it for a very reasonable price ;-) But Dave gets the mounts off of her. so said board member would still need the mounts unless i swap the 4g61 into the talon and have a working 1.6L N/A AWD beast while I gathered the $ for the AWD conversion.

Sorry, this is suti's bro for a second. I just thought I might add that his car sucks :P j/k. He hacked off part of his exhaust, and now he's putting on a wing... I dont know what you would call that, but I call him a ricer ;) Yes, I'm evil. You're not telling me anything new :P I'm not going to let him ruin his credit anymore, because it would be me bailing his ass out lol. Oh well. <3

WTF SINCE WHEN?????????????? (sooooo confused)! when didja get her?????
umm... yeah... dave and I are gonna try to get her (his lancer[92 summit]) running tonite! so yeah we got the car yesterday! the guy @ the shop said that the engine is blown, but we'll find out ;-)
