Regarding my recent thread...

I kind of thought a sticky in the noob forum would be more usefull than a thread in the archives - since that topic comes up in there roughly once a week. I know people are "supposed" to check the archives, but they don't.

Anyway, not trying to be a grump, so no biggie... Just trying to cut down on the repeat threads.

Maybe we should switch things around. Sh*t, half the time even I forget the archives are even there. Maybe put the Information Archives at the top so you have to scroll past it before you get to the Tech and General stuff.

What about a big link on the first page that is under the FAQ and or some other category that is really quite visible? Just tell them to check the first page - ARchives.

I too forget about the archives and just widdle my way by until someone calls my bluff when I don't remember something correctly or outright  *mutters under his breath* fabricate something.
