Let's vote to see if we should allow avatars on the board.

I say yes. I mean, why not? as long as they aren't huge like the vette forums (bunch of vain people) they shouldn't be a problem, right?
Personally I probably wont even use one, but options are always nice to have.

That's exactly what I don't want to have. Those huge pictures make the board look tacky and makes it incredibly long to load on a dialup connection.

I can solve this problem by limiting them to a 60x60 size.

Check your profile, you should be able to add avatars now. It may or may not work because I haven't tried to use it.

The avatars do actually work now. I have one as an example. They are also limited to a 60x60 size.

i can't upload an avatar-- hare's the errors i get--

My avatar seems to be working, However I have a good one, but can't upload it, Would be nice of you could change it to 80x80, that's not too big, Our local inport site has 100x100, not too nad but most ppl don't use em that big, but 80x80 is usually the norm for some of the boards I'm on.

you can do 80x80 avatars. If you have a red x as your avatar, you need to delete your current one and try it again.

tried uploding one again, and got the same errors that i posted above.
