Being married kind of puts a damper on living with your parents. :)

Hey, I think a company is going to make me an offer today. I hope it works out. I'm excited, but dont' want to say too much yet. If I get the offer I'll fill in the details.

Oh I forgot to post back here.

I'm working for CARQUEST Corp. now. I'm a Product Analyst for their Tool and Equipment division. Looks like it's going to be an interesting job.

Snowdev, sorry to hear that. Being without a job sucks. Is the job market there in a slump like it is here?

My first job was a cook at a family owned restaurant.

I'd look for a job at a parts store.

I used to work for the Reserves (Canadian Military) for my first job. What an eye opener at 17 and just starting into Grade 11 at High school. I've never tried so hard to stay asleep.... I mean... awake  in math class before. While this may not be for you, having your family behind you and helping you out is quite possibly the best feeling in the world; other than getting to repel off towers face first!!! 8) ... I believe we called it "Aussie Style"

same here, 15, wasn't even allowed near the grill area for insurance reasons. i hooked up lots of people ( read: girls ) with free food, especially in drivethrough!

its an age old question, why do people order the fattest meal, supersized with triple cheese, no lettuce, extra mayo, etc. and STILL order a DIET drink ?!?!?!

tips to get fresh food at a fast food place:
-ORDER INSIDE, drivethrough is timed so they just dump your food in the bag and hand it to you
-MODIFY YOUR MEAL, this makes them pay extra attention to your food (well, they are supposed to) when they are making it.
-NO SALT, order your fries like this and they have to be cooked when you order them. unless you live in one of those wierd states that does this anyway, then you are screwed and you can try to order them " well done" or " crispy "
-WATCH YOUR ORDER, if at all possible, pay more attention to the grill area than the nametag-area of that chick taking orders, this ensures that your food is not mistreated in any *cough* way.
trust me on that one, the rumors are true :o

yes people, im so bored im talking about the best way to order fast food.
but hey, this is the BOV!!!
