hey everybody, been a LONG WHILE since i've been on this board. anyhow, me and my friend are trying to get an all mitsubishi meet started up somewhere in va, md, or pa. hes already posted on 2gnt.com and for some reason the boostaholic.net site hasn't been working for like the last 2 weeks (anyone know why?). post any comments, suggestions (like for a location) and anything else u might want to...

ok, its looking more and more like its going to be at one of the NOVA campuses or the manassas burger king in va. we've got like 10 guys from the 2gnt board that say they're interested, anyone here? c'mon, we need all the c/m/s we can get, i dont want to be the only one, lol (although if i had my 4g63t swap done i'd shock a LOT of the 2gnt guys, hehehe  )

:D Lo, what part of Va are you from? I assume it's Northern Va. If so, call Mach V in Arlington and speak to Geoff Morgan (Phntmmenace, here). They just had an open house which I thought that I would attend, but with my usual bad luck, I couldn't get the thing ready. (I keep promising and reneging.) Anyway, I would come if it's in Oct. Also, there is a NOPI thing in Richmond Oct. 12, which may provide a good gather. I'm trying to get there right now. Bill Spruill, oldest Colt

ok, well the NOVA campuses (or nvcc, whatever you call them) are more or less not available for us unless we rent it and lets face it, if i had money, i'd have an evo in the driveway of my multi-million dollar house  I'm thinking about contacting whoever is in charge of events at dulles expo center to see if we could use their parking lot, but i seriously doubt if they would let us use it for free. oh and btw, looks like intrest is seriously growing for this meet and looks like we've got like 20 or so people now...

i know what u mean, i've found a junkyard gst for 600 with what looks like an all right engine (just missing a few easy to replace things) and im not even THINKING of the swap till i first off buy it before anyone else does and second until its running flawlessly in the eclipse chassis (or whats left of it)

ok everyone, the dsm meet is gonna be at bull run park in va on oct. 25th! we are also taking requests to see what to cook (hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, whatever) and will be taking donations to cover the cost of the food. we are currently working out which shelter we will be at and other logistical details. so everyone vote for what food you want and i'll add em to what the 2gnt forum says they want.
