Only thing I've held onto for that long was my wife and daughter lol. Glad to see you drop in Paul.

I have Michael DeSalvo's Mirage. I might get it back on the road in the spring of 2019, if I can find the time. 2.3 with an FP Green, liquid to air, adjustable coilovers, blah blah blah...

I'm 47. I check this forum from time to time, but have been doing so more lately since I'm trying to get the Mirage back up and running.

^^^ Did it come with all the audio that the father had installed so many years ago?

He spent some time with that part for sure.

Michael definitely did have some nice audio equipment in the car. He put in a four channel amp, some crossovers and a component speaker system in the front, and a really high end head unit with CD player too. That stuff came with the car. I think he had another amp driving a sub. He kept both the sub amp and the sub.

But I'm not complaining. I bought his pristine Mirage with some really nice upgrades and am the second owner. I really enjoyed the solo drive from San Jose, CA to Asheville, NC. I stopped in Dallas for the week of Thanksgiving with family and completed the trip afterward. The only downside of the purchase and the trip was I got a speeding ticket outside of Little Rock, AR. I think it was 82 in a 70, but he gave me a break and only wrote it for 10 over.

Hey guys, 35 here, been a member for just over 12 years now! I may of sold my colt a few years ago now, but I still like to check in and see what everyone is doing with their cars lately! I still have a 4g61t block, and i keep eyeing the empty engine bay of my Fiero and dream...
I may not of been the most active member in this group, but for a good 3-4 years, this group helped me rebuild my 1.5L stock colt into a 4g61t daily driver, then into what I was hoping would be a 4g64t beast (lack of time and money got in the way).. It seems like its not as active here as it was even a couple years ago, but I really hope facebook doesn't kill this forum format, as I found it so easy to look up a certain problem I was having, or ask if it couldn't be found.
Anyways, just an "old" fart reminiscing about the good old days! Thanks again guys for all the help you've been over the years! I will own a colt again one of these days!! Maybe I`ll convince my son to get one when he`s old enough 8)
