How about a age roll call. I still love my AWD Summit but I wonder if I am the only "old guy" here. I have never met anyone from this site in person and the Connecticut CSM scene is me, myself and I!!
I am assuming I am the oldest " kid" on here but who knows.
So after me, who is the oldest person here?

I bet Steve from out west is next in line.

I roll in at just under the big 4-0.

Silky aka Bill Spruill had us all beat, back when he was active and pushing into his 70's now. He is still around but not active here.

Well I feel better. slowdsm and lancerman have me by a few years. I am 52 and wasn't sure if there was any other old guys driving one of these. I still love the car and my youngest wants to drive this someday, not now since he just got his license.
My blue Summit is my 1st AWD and 4G63 build and this site was a big help. I know this site has helped a lot of people but assumed I was the old guy.
Wrong again!

Until you are called, "Old Silky" ... you are doing just fine.

Wouldn't it be funny if this was our most active thread?

I've been on here for quite some time, I'll be 36 this year. I race my talon mostly now, but I still have my colt project car, one day it'll get finished :) Times have been very busy of the last 5-6 years and I only have garage space at the house for one :(

I'll be the big 4-0 in November so me and Tim are neck in neck  . Who was the guy from California, desalvo or something like that. Seems he was up in ago too. Bought his car brand new and put a ton of miles on it, then restored it. I believe another member gvr4 in Ashville NC still owns it.

Also just realized that in a few days it'll be 12 years since joining this site. Wow

I think Desalvo gave his car to his step son for a bit, then as you say it moved on.

That would be my holy grail to find a rust free shell, original C53A.

Now I do sound old.

I honestly think there is a great mix of youthful vitality, voice of reason/experience and ingenuity very much alive and represented here. If we had 1500 posts that were unintelligible, and only 1 constantly updated and thorough build, I could see where we might be at a cross roads here, but I think we do well with what we have and who is presenting to the members.

We need more "old" members! "Here, here ... Pip pip!"

Dang you guys are old.
But seriously if I could have my colt as nice as most of you guys I'll be stoked. I'd aspire to be a cool of a 50 yr old as that
