Hi Guys ,

its been a long time since i was here the last time, but had you always in my mind. Still driving Mitsubishi daily and im still into Cars. I love a lot of Brands and Shapes ,
so i got 2 Imports that i want to show you. The Nissan Skyline R31 is my honey...i love the old Shit , even when its Automatic :-) It is in very very good shape , and thanks to you US Guys, since you are importing everything thats older than 25 Years , my Car became double in price the last 3 Years :finga: :D
On the other Hand i found an Subaru Impreza type RA in a Garage. Car was in horrible Condition, completely fruit and banana up from the Seller. I go on Restauration. No Pics here right now , only a Screenshot. Car is from Japan, RHD and got the Ultra Short Ratio Transmission. Acceleration is Hard. 5th Gear Limiter is only 200km/h.

So now i have to read 20 unread Sites :-)

Very nice! This place is dead so you haven't missed much. Still good to see old timers drop in though.

You were one of the first here to post about modifying your dash to include more gauge backlighting!

Nice to hear from you.

Things are quiet here but we still get some good stuff getting posted. Better to have a few regulars posting good info than a whole lot of nothing.

Hey thanks for the nice Answers!
Happy to see your Names on the Screen . Here it is the same in Germany...my 4g63 Forum is also nearly dead. Only a few Posts per Month. But the few Posts are mostly from the Freaks , so it is cool :-) Flying Eagle your Name was Tim right ? Yes the Gauges :-)

Yes, I am the Tim. Sorry, that sounds a little like "the Donald", but it's all in good fun. ;)

I have a Subaru Legacy wagon and can't get enough if it going sideways and pulling hard in the snow and ice. It is non turbo, so lower maintenance but I just had the engine out for head gaskets; not doing that again. It is my daily, so four straight days at work plus all kids of running around. Is in really good shape for 230,000kms and living in a province that salts the roads heavily when needed. The shop I work at does rust proofing, so tons of chemical gets applied to all the right places.
I like your Impreza, should be loads of fun. The exhaust tone from my Wagon is unique in that it has a little burble sound (not quite like a large diameter exhaust turbo setup), but a better than normal tone at idle. Even has unique trumpet tips instead of the rolled metal tip look, and likely full stainless too. I have yet to see a Wagon or another Subaru with these tips, and that includes the catalogue of parts online! Strange differences like this make it special to me.

You have always had your eye on some cool cars, so it goes without saying that you have accumulated a few "extras" now.

Coltanostra! Glad to see you're still into cars, thanks for dropping in and saying hi! That Subaru Type RA is very rare, indeed.

@Flying Eagle:
Im sure your Wagon sounds cool. Those Boxer Engines have a nice Exhaust Tone. Mine is a little too heavy , its an invitation for every Cop :-) So i ordered a DB Killer.
Car Repair with Kids is enormous Stress haha . Mine was always sitting in the Car when i was in the Engine Bay an do the Honk lol .
