As of right now, I'm planning on going on the hunt for an original Mirage turbo next year. I guess it is the purist in me, but I think I'd rather have a 1.6t over a 4g63t swapped one. How many are left? How hard will it be to find one, in running condition? How much should I work on budgeting? I'm also inquire about importing a Cyborg...but we will see how that goes.

I know of an original Mirage Turbo with the 1.6L in it that's been for sale for quite some time. It's listed here on the forum. They're out there. |

Thanks. I figured when the time was right, I would just come on here and post up a WTB and wait for the right one to come along. |

I'd guess and say $3500 will get you a clean one. It seems to me that most out there are projects and you never really see one that is ready to drive. Not saying they never pop up but the majority that do are unfinished projects, not DD's. |

They pop up pretty often but finding one that is road worthy is another thing as stated. |

Thanks for the info fellas. An importer emailed me this morning and said they would be getting a cyborg in either the end of this year, or early next year. |
