What if you put a roof rack on it, and then covered said roof rack with stickers?

Stick rims on it and the 0-60 would probably raise to 14 seconds.

We looked at one in person yesterday when we were taking our Outlander Sport in for some warranty work. I'd pimp one in a heartbeat.

I can't believe anybody actually likes these cars. They are total crapcans! They didn't even paint the bottom of the hoods on them! It's just primered. Very cheaply-made. Mitsubishi is going down the toilet, and they can take this econobox with them!

In order to sell a car so cheap you have to cut corners somewhere. I read the entire review and although I don't like that green color, or any green for that matter, the guy really didn't have anything negative to say about it. Basically that it was a cheap car.

Before long, someone will toss on some big brakes and nice wheels and a 4B11T and maybe that will change your mind. :P

Also keep in mind. No mirage ever built was a really nice looking car. Just look at the 3g's. I love them but they're not exactly nice to look at.

5th-Gen Mirages are nice-looking, at least the coupes are. I love the look of an original turbo 3G CSM, but base models aren't too attractive. I get the whole cutting corners thing, I just hate econobox cars that are piss slow. 74hp? I mean, come on!

Small engines make for high fuel economy, without the bother of millions of hours of R&D. 74hp is pretty damn good from a 1.2, especially a 3cyl. The 8v 4g15 was 75, and it was a bigger engine!

My daily driver 97 Aspire has a 1.3, and it does what it is supposed to do: get me to and from work, with cheap maintenance, and easy-to-work-on-ness. That's what the Mirage is supposed to be, a cheap car that's good on gas, that's easy to fix and not loaded with every technological advance known to man.

Gas up here is already above 5/gal, anything that can get 48mpg is a winner in my books. Gas ain't gonna get any cheaper! :(
