| Does anybody here have experience with the rb25det? I'm helping a kid clean up a 240sx he bought that was swapped already. It's on wastegate pressure now, I think its 9 psi, he wants 15. It's a stock turbo, t25 i think, he was worried about blowing up the turbo at 15 psi, i've not done much with a t25, would 15 psi on a 2.5 L engine be too much for the turbo? I've told him he needs to upgrade the fuel pump and get some way to tune the car. it has some mods, a wide band o2, front mount ic, aftermarket intake manifold, aluminum radiator, slim fans, and a welded diff (i'll never do that to a car its awful ) also he asked me the performance difference in top feed and side feed injectors, I have no experience with side feed, thoughts? | |

| Don't take it past 15, even the ceramic turbos on the r33 and r35 rb25's like to come apart at anything over 1 bar. Does it still have a stock 240 pump in it? If so, it has to be on the ragged edge of detonation, no more boost! | |

| The only thing I know about RB motors is they're not as strong as everyone thinks they are, and they have a lot of oiling issues. Upgrade the oil pump, and try not to push it much past 500hp on stock internals, and it should be ok. | |
