So my colts almost done & my friend & I are going to the quarter mile track come first week in April.. We have a bet going for who is going to get the faster time... Winner buys the other one dinner. or any other ideals for the winner? .. haha... funny thing is I use to be a honda guy, so winning will be all the better! :rock: I have a build tread on here, but havent updated it in a while, i will update soon, but alot the stuff in my build is listed.. and the person im gonna race against is kotscolt, he also has a build... The one difference is he is running with dsm link, and i will be running with safc2 untill i get link... So I just thought id throw this up here and take bets...(for fun)

depends who gets the better traction.. I say him only cause you are used to a honda lol.. either way just go have fun and beat up on other cars as well as each other

yea i was honda guy, always like being the underdog... but yea, traction is key.both are fwd.... I have couple weeks left and almost done, so hopefully have some time to practice launching :) .. i just been lagging im down to the wiring, but little confused on some the wires... trying to follow to 90 harness wiring in archieves..

Im running dsmlink.......simply to datalog cause the car is gonna be running a afc2/maf translator. If you look at my build thread the thing is completely stock. The only things im adding is fmic and exhaust work, stock motor valve cover gasket to oil pan..........while King_of_the_street has cams and some huge evo fmic :P Its just a friendly grudge match, the loser buys dinner lol :finga: Since being a dsm'er for so long i got some tricks up my sleeve "aka" my hood latch is broke, i cant lift my hood type a thing :twisted:.

For those that like to bet here are the build threads to each car....I'll update mine as more parts get thrown on the car, as im sure kingofthestreet will too.

Ha... Good one.... So yesterday he has one win on me, beating a 70 yr old woman in infinity fighting for single lane merging, I better step my game b4 track :axe: Ha, but on side note finally got colt started last night, almost ready!

That lady was atleast in her forties and she really wanted that lane merge............. :yawinkle:

Stupid ? but why would you run link just to datalog and tune with a afc? That is like wiping before you poop, it doesnt make sense...

because the car is going to end up a maft/afc car, the dsmlink is going into my 1g after i finish.
