Post subject:  Home Depot aluminum strips UPDATE!

Does anyone have any experience w/these? Can these hold up being in the engine bay for longterm like decades and beyond? Are they pretty strong?

Picture of what Im talking about... the pic I got this from, someone actually used these to mount a slim rad fan.

Used a piece of that to hold my honda rad in, didn't have any problems. Just as long as its thicker than can you should be fine.

The aluminum would have worked fine as long as it wasn't thin enough to suffer from fatigue.

Oh ok well they were pretty thin pieces of aluminum so they woulda probably gave way after awhile

Done!, the setup is very sturdy! Now just need to route the batt wires to the terminals..

looks nice man! at least ur not running ur battery in the back..iv used those stripes for holding up the brake lines in bay & underneath car, holds pretty well so far.
