I agree with what "92colt200e" posted on the section for turbo cars only and a 25(ish) post threshold to pass before more random posting.

Are their any other reasonable safe guards that could be put in place to check peoples credibility? - don't want to ask for a credit check, we all have enough problems but there must be something innovative out there to add onto this.
Maybe there are some ways of holding pertenant banking/credit info off site so that people don't get burned if large sums of money are exchanged and services/product withheld. Sorry if this sounds like another full-time job Jason, but have to throw out ideas while I can still think straight.

I think as long as the forum for turbo cars is very specific about how info is posted it might work well enough ie:
First, Last Name
City vehicle is located in
City where owner resides
How long has the car been owned ?
How many previous owners ?
Car write-up (insert page setup here)
- original setup, mileage before and after mods, mods, extras included in sale
Pictures or Videos of car - maybe a video w/sound could be mandatory so as to give you a real sense of what you are getting. A picture says a thousand words but a video will make you wet your pan..... well you get the idea about what to do when you hear the right motor in a small car.
Shipping options - will ship, needs pick-up (yeah I know it's beginning to sound like Ebay-but even they can't stop every bad apple either! )

I hope this idea sounds okay 'cause if people can't read the rules then they shouldn't be driving a car!

(I see enough funny things happen when the one plate wonders (no offense to Quebecers 8) ) come over to work construction in Ontario - but that's another story...)

If the forum sounds like it's too strict for someone then they are probably out to do something they shouldn't anyways. You want to sell something, maybe there should be a little more to prove.

I might just be spewing what everyone else is thinking but just had to add something. Every wants to see this site do good rather than just subsist otherwise there isn't much point in us logging on right? :D
