I will be voting for some real change and Ron Paul is definitely the guy I will be voting for. He might be radical on some stuff but he's got the drive to get things done and isn't just flapping his gap like the other candidates and isn't talking about "hope and change". The way I see it, we need someone drastically different and a little out there with the way our country is going. Ron Paul was also one of the few who supported Reagan when he ran for president. |

Now we all have to register as republicans, and vote in the primaries  . That's the key. If you don't want another republican to take his ability to go against Obama. I want someone who will actually win big

Our electoral college means Ron Paul won't win. Don't get me wrong, we need him in office. However, it won't happen. I'm sorry if you think your vote means something. |

He wants to drastically decrease the size of government and put its powers in check for the first time in history. In order to be elected, people in government must vote him in. There's a problem there. I have no doubt that if it were a popular vote then he would win, but, sadly, it's not. Also, the last president who tried to fix the government caught a magic bullet to the dome. |

Conspiracies, facts, whatever. The secret service didn't have anything to do with what happened to Kennedy. Too bad your vote doesn't matter in the presidential race. I'm not picking on you, I just think it's funny when people, other than state reps, think their vote for president matters. |

The electoral college was put in place to prevent states with high populations from always getting a vote. While not perfect, it allows states like ND & RI have a say in the elections. |

Wat?? Obama said what everyone wanted to hear to get a $400k a year, all expenses paid, unlimited retirement job. He also get every black person in the nation who had never voted to vote, whether people want to admit it or not, race DID have something to do with it. He had full control of house and senate but didn't change shit. He's nothing but a liar and cheat like every other politician. That being said, this has nothing to do with the thread and I'll leave it at that. Ron Paul has a chance to win, people just need to continue spreading word about him and let people know what he's about. If democrats are too ignorant to vote for the right person instead of the "right" party then nothing will change and our country will continue down it's slope. |

Corporations run the government. The republicans have blocked/stalled every attempt to block corporations from doing it. They even rigged the supreme court with another republican so that they'd rule that corporations=citizens which lets corporations give as much money as they want as "campaign contributions", aka bribes. Capitalism was great until the rich decided to screw over everyone they possibly could. There's a reason why the guy that runs the biggest health insurance company has a small army of armed guards protecting him. |
