For that kind of money.... What a deal!
My wife had a Beretta when we first met over 20 years ago, and I became the mechanic through the 6 or 7 years we kept it after that. The only issues I recall with it were:
Door hinges... keep them lubed. The driver's door fell off of the car
when one of the hinges seized and twisted off ( car was 3 years old at the time).
Console shifter... If yours has one, make sure nothing sticky ever spills in the sliding plastic piece that moves with the lever. We loaned the car for a couple of days, and when we got it back the shifter would not move after sitting overnight. Had to take the whole dang thing apart to clean it out and get it functional again. Relatives...
Throttle body.... butterfly tends to get sticky. Keep it cleaned inside the throat where the plate touches. Also, spread the coiled return spring with a small screwdriver and put some liquid graphite lube at the point where the shaft passes into the housing. You'll know you need maintenance when the pedal requires extra pressure to get going, and it "Pops" open for a jerky start.
Ignition.... The car began running bad, and smelled like it was going to catch fire.
The console even smoked! The heat came up from the Cat, which was being stoked with unburned fuel. The Hall-Effect ignition system has a circuit board under the coils, IIRC, and that fried. New module, and all was well again.
