Well, it's been probably about 6 months now since my Colt actually moved. It's been a long drawn out process just do fight through the delays on parts. Nothing like having friends as favors do the work in their spare time. It took me 3 months just to get the head rebuilt and the go fast tricks fininshed. Now I'm waiting on Ben K. to rebuild my 16G. Luckily the extra amount of time is allowing me to do things right and get all the other parts I should have like the beefed fuel system and proper gauges. I'm just getting antsy cause I know this thing is going to be blast when it's up and running again. But like I said, I'm starting to forget how much fun it can be.

The "favors from friends" situation is exactly what I am avoiding with this car. Means I have to pay to get stuff done, or do it myself, but it always gets done fast :). I have a friend who said he would do some aluminum welding for me, but I am going to send it out anyway. Drop it off today, pick it up tomorrow :D.

Hope you get it up and running soon!
