I know there's two GT5 threads on here already, but this is more of a general thread than a race hookup thread (not sure why we have two of those?)
What does everyone think of GT5 so far? I like it, but as for a game that i've been looking forward to for the last 6(?) years, i'm a little disappointed. I think it feels quite unfinished. Some tracks are beautiful, some look like they've been ported from GT4. The people look like cardboard cutouts. And car shadows are blocky (apparently they're releasing a fix for this?)
-Upgrade parts selection is extremely bland even in comparison to GT4. No brake upgrades? Small selection of aftermarket wheels, limited only to premium cars (minority).
-No machine test (Test Track for 400m, 1000m etc) - was a major part of all the previous GT games, can't believe they left it out of this one. I used to love doing upgrades to cars and then hitting the 400m track to see how it's improved.
-Gran Turismo has been around for over 12 years and GT5 has over 1000 cars, and still no 3G CSMs
Give us a turbo Cyborg at least! They even took out the first gen Mivec Mirage (was in GT2, not sure about GT3 or 4). Yet GT5 includes 40+ different types of Skylines, and a whole bunch of rubbish cars like the Fiat Panda, Daihatsu Sirion etc 
Other than that, not a bad game haha
