I started thinking about ideas for the frame of an ExoCar that I could build. I bought some brass wire and made the following.

This is by no means a scale model of what I would like to make. It is too wide across the passenger area and the "roof" bars are not what I want them to be. Also, I ran out of brass wire so no chassis bracing was added.

I would like to design a model in a CAD program but I have no experience with this. Google has a program called Sketchup that I downloaded but it is difficult to design a frame such as this with the program. Another program called CAD X11 has a free student version that I requested permission to download but I have not ahd the chance to try it. If anyone has any insight on a CAD program or designing a car frame please feel free. I am by no means attempting to turn this into a project RIGHT NOW. Tomorrow is a different story.
