Awhile back, I noticed a thread about junk yard experiences and the interest in scrounging for parts. There is a pretty good yard close by me, U Wrench It, which is a charitable directed operation with cheap prices. I recently got my first experience. The deal is to pay a buck and go at it. They will rent tools or you bring your own and look around. All cars are in neat lines, and I saw several Colts and 1 gen types, et al. I picked up new headlights (one of mine had a crack), and saw two Mitsu. Mirage grills with emblems, some good doors, etc.
So, if anyone (Weinner) has a need, give me a heads-up, and I will keep my eyes out. Yours at cost and shipping. I am told that the DSM types (can you say turbos and ECUs) come out on Wed. or Thurs. No guarantees, just another pair of eyes for your interests. Bill Spruill
