Hey kenc15, do you still have access to the firewall plate? Because I would just need interior trim codings to make your listing 100% complete.
Either way, it's nice to see this is one of the first emails I came to today.

ie C53AMNPTL2D,
and the other codeing will be similar to: 04A A81
Your paint code is R52.

Can you get me the build date (driver door jamb), firewall plate info, and a random blurb about the stock/swapped nature of the car, and anything else you feel is really pertinent to let me know about? It would be fantastic to have another entry on the registry, as it seems to be a tough sell for some at the moment. [-(

Nice find! Unfortunately, another turbo car gets written off to the history books then. :( I'll document as much as I can. Thank you 2.0pwrdc50.

Hey MirageGS, good to see you are still alive! Do you know what City or yard the car is located in?
If you happen to go by the car again, could you grab the build date off the driver door jamb plate, and the VIN is 2 digits short. No biggie, but
"ja3cu54" Z(check digit number) "ku062888" is how long the VIN would be; a total of 17 digits. I've catalogued the entry and thank you for posting it up, because you guys are my eyes and ears on this stuff. I don't think there will be too many yards with these cars still intact around here if they knew what they had. 8)

Damn, there were three at the same yard here locally last year. Never crossed my mind to get the information. One silver(totalled on the passenger side), one black(nothing wrong from what I saw), and a red one(was missing engine and tranny).

Yard was in aurora, colorado. Pull-n-save. I think Bobby and Davis saw the black one.

I got this entry from project_tsi awhile back, so would this be related to the same cars? :o

Probably, if he works for that yard or is a regular there. This has been 14-16 months ago now.

Heres some information for you:

1989 dodge colt gt
VIN - jb3cu5476ku093403
Mfg date - Dec 1988
c10aku093403
c53amnptl7d
engine - 4g61
trans - km210
color - w09

Please let me know if I missed anything or if something looks wrong.

When I bought the car it had a seized turbo, blew tons of smoke. It also had a bad throw out bearing which ruined to the input shaft on the stock transmission. I changed to a 14b, 450cc injectors, 1g turbo dsm maf, ecu, and transmission, koni dampers and ground control.
