Its on the road guys after a year of 3 different turbo setup changes and part aquisition the 90 hatch is on the road and its running very very strong at 6psi. At this boost level I'm already as fast as my old setup with a 13G on 15psi. I was kinda upset when i found out that my M's racing fuzzy boost controller bit the crapper but after an hour of schematics and testing with the fluke I found the fault component and fixed it the boost controller goes in tomorrow and so comes the 15psi on the slowboy M57trim. As I've said before I'm determined to have the fastest 4G61T on teh board. once I slap the wideband on and do a little rough tuning its off to Bristol I go to see what she'll do. My old car ran a 12.8 in the 1/4 with a 4G61T swap in a C10 hatch and a 14b at 15psi that was the last time I went to the track in fall of 2004. its nice to have a fast car again and eat up all sorts of unsuspecting cars. Here is the setup I have on the car now Engine Rebuilt 4G61T .20 over Arias pistons 8.5:1 compression Eagle H-beams stock crank Ported head and new seals and guides 90 4G63T Throttle body Slowboy M57 trim turbo 7cm Turbonetics Evolution wastegate Evo 8 FMIC with 60mm piping MAFT & 3" GM MAF HKS SSQV BOV Apex'i N1 DP 3" mandrel exhaust with 1 flowtech chambered muffler Suspension DSS coilovers KYB AGX shocks all around Cusco rear sway bar front tower bar Electronics M's racing Fuzzy logic boost controller Greddy turbo timer sunpro 3.5" tach Autometer boost gauge Interior 2000 grey Mirage cloth seats Bride steering wheel with momo hub Momo shift knob B&M 2G eclipse short shifter I will try to get some new pics up soon of everything. |
