my friend found a mirage gt w/ 98k original miles in a junkyard in ft.worth, texas. light damage to front pass. fender and rear driver's quarter. all ground effects and spoiler intact.

luckily, the yard had not turned the title in yet. we decided to go in halves and picked it up today.

towed it back and replaced the mpi relay fuse. fired right up. turbo boosts, but smokes bad. BONE STOCK. shifts like butter. brakes need bleeding. also had a PRESTINE eprom ecu. one of the most perfect boards i've ever seen. no leakage whatsoever.

i already have my colt gt, so im selling it to a local car buddy. he has been patiently waiting for a gt since i had my first swapped mirage. it will have a good home. he'll prolly be on here soon enough.

there really arn't very many of these cars left. im glad i was able to rescue this one from certain doom. there was just one on ebay that wasn't listed as a gt. but it had a spoiler, lip, etc. listed as non-running and sold for $400. neither the seller nor the buyer had ANY IDEA what the car really was.

buyer crushed it after finding out the motor was seized. PRESTINE interior and exterior 89 colt gt w/ i think around 120k. damn shame. he took too long to respond to my messages. i was going to try to make sure he didn't crush it :(
