Post subject:  NOPI Nationals
The NOPI Nationals in Atlanta, GA are Scheduled for Sept. 17-18. It's just "show stuff" but there is a "Super Street" tour that makes a three-day stage to Atlanta from Baltimore, with nightly stops. It culminates with a run on the Atlanta Speedway. Is anybody going? I expect to go and enter the Colt. Our cars may enter as Asian compact or American compact. What are the opinions as to which class I (we) should enter? Give me a vote. "Asian" should be a larger group, but more like us. "American" should be more Focus and Neons.

If you have an all-Mitsu badging conversion done, then claim it is offshore material and go with that. I figure that you'll end up Domestic - but don't tell the wife though!. :D

I'll hopefully be there. Dunno if I'll do the tour (cause I only live 2 hours away). I'm also not sure if I'll be taking the Mirage of the SE-R.

:D How about NOPI? I made it. Ran the track twice, but had to do some running 'cause most just wouldn't move. Wound up in American Sport Compact-Other (whatever that is). I took a first place,anyway. Ran into Tom Shafer along the way, but couldn't hook up at the track. Nice red job. Don't know what class he was in, or why. Anybody else make it?
