even with popular vote bush was ahead. It really didn't matter to me who won. I was ridding the fence with this vote. but good luch to bush and good job with the win.

all i can say, is that when conscription comes up on the table, not verry many people are gonna wish that the election turned out as it did. I feel sorry for the people who were tricked into believing in such a stupid man.

f the republicans. Kerry shoulda won...now our economy is really going to go to hell.

But dont worry...this thread is going nowhere to get locked. You should have seen me on the Porsche forums...a bunch of 911 bush lovers called me a disgrace to the US for voting for kerry and opposing the war.

So I replied with, how about you go join the army, get sent over there and get your legs blown off by a car bomb? Then when you are in the hospital hovering between life and death, you can sell me your 911 because you cant drive stick anymore, and you wont have any healthcare or medicaid to save your lousy a$$.

After that comment, they shut up...

lol, well the way i look at it is this. i haven't heard a single person so far who hasn't in csome way benefitted from bush's tax thing. (including myself :D) the economy was well on it's way into reccession under the clinton admin. well before bush ever stepped foot into the oval office. and bush is willing to try and do something about medicare. other than the iraq war, i really don't think he's done anything wrong. and even then there are new cia intellegence reports coming out indicating that saddam was involved with multiple terrorist organizations, including al-quaeda, through the oil-for food program that the 9/11 commission did not delve into and the u/n/ is trying despratly to keep under wraps. kerry, i think, is far too eager to sweep 9/11 "under the rug" so to speak. i can't speak for the rest of america, but i'm just not ready to do that. also i think his "plan" for medicare sounded a lot like let's pass it on to the next president so that i don't have to deal with it.
oh yeah, and f.y.i. i was going to join the marines but am serving my country in a more analytical way. that is all i will say.

EDIT - oh yeah, and the difference between an army guy and a marine in that situation would be that the marine would be driving that car with 2 sticks tied around what was left of his legs with a new bumper sticker on the back saying "you have have my porsche when you pry the steering wheel for my cold dead fingers

Well there you have it, our collective village has re-elected its idiot. My faith in the people of America continues to dwindle.

Damn...burn. I rest my case. I'm a bit bitter about the election in case you couldn't tell. At least the west coast, and my state, went to Kerry.

yeah, i'm esspecially liking the way this race ended, not because bush won, but because of the classy way everything was handled, there were no huge lawsuits (i said no huge ones, nothing about the thousands of small ones all over, lol). there was no bitter arguing till then end and all that b.s. kerry stepped aside like i think any decent man should and i applaude him for that.
