I know the idea has been discussed before, but perhaps the time has come.

I know of at least 3 or 4 current active members with 5g cars. At the very minimum it's a foundation for a new generation of members. At least the engine is still on the right (left? :) ) side.

In addition to the CSMs, this also includes the early Evos and Protons. This site seems to attract good people, and as such we have good people keeping everything in line. There is the occasional pissing match but such is human nature. I've heard of the horror stories from mirageforum.net but I really don't envision that here.

Just an idea to keep in mind.

i hate to be a prick, but doesn't mirageforums cover 4,5 and 6 g's?

yes mirageforums cover 4th and 5th gens there is no 6th gen yet :-p

I think we should stick to the 3rd gens and below. The people over at mirageforums are way more familiar w/ those higher gen cars than we are and vice versa.
IMHO the General Tech section is well suited for the few 4G/5G questions we get here.
