Bought mine as a shell from a friend. He picked it up about 4 years ago form a guy in Georgia, who had swapped a 63 into it, and molested it on the track. It's only got about 95k miles on the chassis, but it is in need of some TLC.

Just got another VIN from stealthpony and bro, as they stripped the car before it got crushed a while back. That puts Eugene Oregon on the map for Mitsu turbo's, :lol:.

36 cars on the registry so far, 24 entries of actual vin's to date, the rest are sitting in wrecker yards or already crushed. A couple cars are somewhat unaccounted for as they may still be out there but no way of knowing without more info.

Keep up the good work guys and I hope people don't mind being pestered too much about this thread! :butthead: 8)

i saw a black stock turbo once in slc on I-15....so there's one here....

saw a cyborg about 2 hours later also on I-15 around the same area

Black Mirage Turbo

I bought it in North Carolina for $650 with 248k miles, had it till 2001ish when some non-driving ass-hat in an LT1 Camaro sideswiped me at 85 mph and sent me into a Dale Earnhart style impact with a concrete barrier.

It always had the 1.6 and ran a best of 13.3 at 105 at Tri-State Dragway north of Cinci, OH.

Car was sent to a junkyard with around 278k miles and assumed crushed.
