Well there is that as an option I imagine. Dates would be good as you suggested. I am having to get all my parts tied down to get sent or installed now. I can't wait any longer to start fitting bolts back onto the car. If it is not one thing, it is another. :-?

Okay almost one month later, this topic needs a serious bump start to get going again. What we need is a poll where we can see how many people can make it down and on which weekend more specifically. I'll see what I posted last year and go from there.

Okay these are the calendar dates for this to happen:

August 12 Friday
August 13 Saturday
August 14 Sunday

August 19 Friday
August 20 Saturday
August 21 Sunday

August 26 Friday
August 27 Saturday
August 28 Sunday

September 2 Friday
September 3 Saturday
September 4 Sunday

POST UP WHICH WEEKENDS YOU WOULD FIND MORE FAVORABLE AND/OR THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY MAKE IT TO.

From there we can narrow down location if we haven't already got that one again.
This will help us make this a little more definitive, as we have nothing set yet and as to how many people to expect once we get this rolling.

Pick a weekend, I'm there. They're all good for me. Let's get this ball rolling.

I'm seriously leaning/pushing towards the weekend of August 19 (Friday) through 20,21. I will be down in Sarnia as of Wednesday of that week, so that will put me much closer than the distance from Ottawa. Let's not forget how far I'm going on drop springs too, my kidneys may need to be transplanted after all is said and done. 8)

Sorry to hear that Imon Fyre, there has to be a better time for you to meet everyone that has already had the chance to.

Well, my cylinder head is getting rebuilt as we speak, the brakes are ready for fresh new parts and once the drivetrain is resassembled, I should be able to roll around and test the car. With the car getting closer to completion, I figure it would be good to nail down the spot and the time frame. I am hoping that everyone that possibly can, will be able to sqeeze themselves into this time frame.

So, the weekend of the 19th (Friday) 20 (Saturday), 21 (Sunday) is what I would need make this possible for me and the girlfriend. I am thinking that Saturday or Sunday would be fine but, Saturday the 20th would land everyone with enough time to make it back home on Sunday in time for a rested start to Monday.

Jeff's house is easy enough to get to and as long as we aren't a genuine nuisance to the neighbors, they won't call the fuzz on us again! :butthead:
Location is easy enough to get to, but even with another locale to park at, or even a different city like Toronto, I can't see this getting any easier to maintain the ease of getting there. I think Brantford of close enough to Toronto for the TO/Mississauga residents to get there, Kingston is 2 hours to TO plus 1 hour to Brantford, and myself and the G/F will be coming from Sarnia, so maybe 3 hours total travel time. For a change I won't be coming all the way from Ottawa, but I still have to get back!

I'll leave this posted for now and see how it goes. I'm sure Jeff will want to know if we're coming his way.

Hopefully I'll have the Colt back together, my head just went out for machining. I had 8 bent valves....explains why the car ran like complete sh!t. I hope to be there with my girlfriend and her Rabbit so Tim can tell her what to do with it....

Not on my end, at least anytime too soon; it took me this long to get to the last gasket holdup hopefully sorted by this weekend. Sorry, there is no doctor in the house today. :o 8)
