Well the Calibra I would give a bit of credit. They did race it fairly successfully in the DTM series. But then again it is a GM.
And after 40 Laps on the Circuit,he starts to rust :D

Opel sucks. Maybe the specs of their engines look fancy on the paper. In reality however, they simply suck. Having crappy engines isn't their only issue. They're known for rusting everywhere. If you happen to find an Opel that DOESN'T have rust, be careful. There's something wrong with it... :-?
Soooo true!
Engine specs look fancy only with bigger engines, Opel 1.6 engine has max power rated at 75 HP.
Ok, they improved their engines lately, especially since they're using Fiat turbo diesels lately, but still, they and VW are still making low-power engines.

Opel (Vauxhall in the UK) Calibra = Vectra (Cavalier in the UK) with a fancy body, bigger price tag and less room.

I raced a Vauxhall Cavalier 4x4 turbo at Crail up the 1/4 mile and beat it - in my Colt (standardish) with a cracked engine block.

And their engine's aren't very good, although the C20LET (Calibra/Cavalier) turbo is it least half decent.
