I just saw Team America this evening. I have to say it's been a LONG time since I've laughed that hard at a movie.

Definately go see it if you like that kind of off humour. But for god's sake don't bring the kids.

Team America was one of the best movies I have ever seen at a theater. Worth the 8.75$ to get in. Actually, I saw it twice.

I wasn't there all of 30 mins before I realised I hadn't seen a sh#t, p))p reference and then BANG, they started and couldn't stop until the movie was over. I used to find this stuff enjoyable but I think I've turned heal and decided I don't find that stuff all that exciting anymore. Don't get me wrong though, they did have cool puppeteering and all that stuff but the potty humour had me turned off the movie in about 20 mins flat. From there I couldn't wait to use the washroom and think about something other than my next bowel movement! :-?

Honestly, normally I'd agree with you but this one surprised me. I generally don't like fart jokes and penis puns (I think Adam Sandler should be shot BTW - twice) but I think the more subtle underlying political satire in this movie (and it was a scathing satire) made it funny.

It was like all of South Park was just practice so they could get their technique down for this movie and they absolutely nailed it.

Just my impressions anyway.

I see what you are saying and I did notice the underlying elements at work but I couldn't get past the cover on the book, so to speak!
